1. Nature of Service

Lease Translate is an informational technology tool that provides general insights about residential lease agreements. Lease Translate is NOT a law firm, does NOT provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal recommendations, and the use of Lease Translate does not create an attorney-client relationship.

2. No Legal Advice

All analysis, commentary, and information provided by Lease Translate is for general informational purposes only. Nothing provided by Lease Translate should be construed as legal advice or as a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney. You should always consult with a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction before making any decisions based on information provided by this tool.

3. No Warranty of Accuracy

Lease Translate uses artificial intelligence to analyze lease documents. AI systems can make errors, hallucinate information, or provide incomplete analysis. Lease Translate makes NO WARRANTY, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or currentness of any information provided. Laws and regulations change frequently and may vary by jurisdiction. The information provided may not reflect the most current legal developments or local ordinances.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEASE TRANSLATE AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, EVEN IF LEASE TRANSLATE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL LEASE TRANSLATE'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lease Translate and its creators, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your reliance on any information provided by the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms.

6. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that:

AI-generated analysis may contain errors
Lease law varies by jurisdiction and changes over time
Local ordinances may impose additional requirements not covered
No automated tool can replace the judgment of a licensed attorney
You assume all risk associated with the use of this tool and any decisions made based on its output

7. Data Handling

Lease Translate processes your lease documents using AI services. Lease text is sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Lease Translate does not permanently store your raw lease text on its servers — only the analysis results are saved to your account. You are responsible for reviewing Anthropic's privacy policy at https://www.anthropic.com/privacy.

8. Account and Billing

Paid analyses are billed through Stripe as one-time payments per lease. Each payment unlocks the full analysis for one lease agreement. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
